Our Story
From Chaozhou to the World
SoMoving Food was born in Chaozhou, Guangdong — a city with over a century of food craftsmanship heritage. As early as the 1980s, Chaozhou pioneered the industrialization of snack foods in China, earning its reputation as the “No.1 Food Town of China”. It was in this fertile ground of culinary tradition and manufacturing excellence that we planted our roots.
Our founder, a food industry veteran with decades of hands-on experience, saw a persistent problem: global brands struggled to find Chinese OEM partners who truly understood international compliance — not just low-cost production. Too many factories promised quality but delivered inconsistency. Too many talked about food safety but couldn’t produce the paperwork to back it up. So we set out to build something different.
Starting with two production lines, we invested early in GMP clean rooms, in‑house R&D, and a documentation system that makes customs clearance seamless. Within five years, we were shipping to 30+ countries across five continents.
Today, we’ve grown from jelly‑only to a full‑spectrum manufacturer — but our philosophy remains unchanged: be the factory brands trust, not the one that’s cheapest.
